Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 9, 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the PDF Free Edit service ("Service") provided by JP Group ("we", "us", "our"), based in Canada. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm you have the authority to enter into these Terms and are of legal age in your jurisdiction. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any updates to these Terms.
2. The Service
PDF Free Edit provides online PDF tools for merging, splitting, organizing, annotating, signing, and converting PDF documents. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes within the limits of your subscription plan.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service. You must not: (a) use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose; (b) upload content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights; (c) attempt to probe, scan, or compromise the security of the Service; (d) introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code; (e) scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract source code; (f) resell, redistribute, or circumvent technical limits of the Service.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of files and content you upload. You grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit your content solely to provide the Service. You are solely responsible for your content and for ensuring you have the rights to upload it.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all software, designs, branding, and documentation, is owned by JP Group and protected by intellectual property laws. No rights are granted other than the limited license set out above.
6. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
7. Payments and Subscriptions
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.
8. Service Availability
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
9. Warranties and Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where prohibited by law.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
11. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your account data after a reasonable export window.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province of the registered office of JP Group. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service.
