This Privacy Notice describes how JP Group ("we", "us", "our"), based in Canada, collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use PDF Free Edit (the "Service"). JP Group is the data controller for the personal data described below.

- Content data: PDF files and documents you upload to process.
- Support data: messages you send to our support team.
- Usage and telemetry: features used, actions taken, error logs.
- Device data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers.

- To create and manage your account (contract performance).
- To provide the PDF processing features you request (contract performance).
- To prevent fraud and abuse, and to secure the Service (legitimate interests).
- To improve and develop the Service (legitimate interests).
- To respond to support requests (contract performance).
- To send transactional emails about your account (contract performance).
- To comply with legal obligations (legal obligation).
3. Who We Share Data With
- Service providers / subprocessors: hosting, database, analytics, and customer support tooling acting under our instructions.
- Paddle (Merchant of Record): our reseller Paddle.com handles checkout, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, invoicing, and customer service for purchases.
- Professional advisers: legal, accounting, and similar advisers where necessary.
- Authorities: where required by law or to protect our rights.
4. Data Retention
We keep account data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle disputes and comply with legal obligations. Uploaded files are retained only as long as needed to provide the requested processing and are then deleted or anonymized.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and ongoing monitoring.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
